Your Daily B-12 – Be Purposeful

Receive your daily boost of B-12.

These are in no particular order. Use them all – everyday.

“Live everyday as if it were your last – cuz one day, you’ll be right!”

The first of our B-12 boosts is Be Purposeful.

“Everything in the universe has a purpose. Indeed, the invisible intelligence that flows through everything in a purposeful fashion is also flowing through you.” ~ Wayne Dyer

To be purposeful means to have a definite why. Napoleon Hill called it definiteness of purpose; and W. Clement Stone said definiteness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement.

In my coaching practice, I have encountered so many who go after opportunities because of the money. Unfortunately this does not yield a great return on investment. In the long run, there is burnout, lack of motivation, coupled with constant procrastination and lack of focus. The money is simply the by-product; it is never the why. You have not incarnated here on this earth to amass money. You have incarnated to fulfill your divine purpose, that burning desire that is within each and every one of us. When you are so on purpose, you lose all track of time, stay focused and motivated and there is less stress and burnout because you are doing exactly what you were created to do. You are being first – being your authentic self.

STOP, TAKE A BREATH, and ASK:

“What am I here to be, do and have?”

Asking this question, you will soon re-discover your divine why. I say re-discover because you already know the answer – you just need to re-member it.

Just for today, be purposeful!

Be of Service ~ On Purpose

"We don't get our lives together and then give them to God, but rather we give our lives to God and then things start coming together. As our hearts open, our talents and gifts begin to blossom. Many people have told me that once they're successful and have made a lot of money, they will use that success to help the world. But that's a delay technique by which the ego tries to keep us from showing up fully in our own lives. Even if we don't yet consider ourselves successful, we can devote our work now to being used in the service of the healing of the world. From that point of power our careers will take off."

From A Return to Love by Marianne Williamson.

May you be of service to all ~ on purpose,

Forgiving on Purpose

I posted the topic of forgiveness on my leadership blog, Equip and Empower after giving a talk on leadership to a class of seminarians. The topic was a lively one and very provocative. I love purposeful, provocative conversations -- they are so filled with passion!

You can read the post I wrote over up the block, but I wanted to just bring up the topic here because it is a sticking point to living a life of passion and purpose. I wanted to bring up some points for you to perhaps meditate and journal about over the weekend.
  • Do you have an issue of unforgiveness in your life?
  • Is it upsetting your peace?
  • What would you like to do about it?

Three simple questions to meditate on and journal about. I believe an exercise worth looking at. Forgiveness is such a loaded and provocative issue that these three questions are all we need to handle at one time.

If you are so willing, please share with me what came up for your in your journaling time.

Live free and on purpose,

Purposeful Musings from Blogland

My passion and purpose is to guide and create passion and purpose for others, especially women. To often, women are the ones to undervalue themselves. Well, I just won't stand for it anymore! Women are the goddesses on this planet, heiresses to the throne of the Divine, and we must behave like it.

When I find other women on this same journey, it really excites me. I read several blogs daily for my own spiritual enrichment and connection. I found this post to be a wonderful expression of Divine purpose and wanted to share it with you. It comes from Susan Hanshaw of Sanctuary for Change. Susan's mission is to support others on the transitional journey she walked herself. A certified spiritual counselor and coach, Susan works with individuals seeking to experience a life with greater abundance, joy, and sense of purpose. She is the author of Unleashing Your Soul: Finding the Courage to Follow Your Heart.

"I have talked a lot here about my belief that life has purpose. Yet where does that purpose come from and where does it begin? Consider first that we were all created from a divine energy that many of us call God. That means that we each began as a spark from the divine. If you can see yourself as a divine spark, you then accept the invitation to see that there is something that God wants to do through you. This is your divine purpose."

Susan has a beautiful way that she languages life and purpose. To truly be women of purpose, immerse yourself in the light and wisdom of other women of passion and purpose, like Susan. This is what I call a nutritious connection! So, bathe in it!

Life passionately, on purpose!
