A Prosperous Life

Thinking about the hurricanes, tornadoes and floods that have ravaged our nation these past weeks, I give thanks for the gift of life. We do not remember how fragile life is until we are faced with some adversity or devastation. When I witness these calamities, I realize how truly blessed I am.

I received this from the Daily Word. It confirmed my blessed and abundant state of life. May it give you comfort as we pray for those affected by life’s storms.

Prosperity
I am prospered as I circulate God's good.

Water in a pool or pond becomes stagnant when there is lack of fresh water circulating through it. Similarly, when I fail to circulate the good in my life, good can appear to be in short supply. The more I give, the more I receive. The greater my appreciation of life's abundance, the more I am stimulated to share.

As I give love to others, love returns to me. It may return from different people, yet without fail, it will return to bless me. When I spend money, I am doing more than just making a purchase or paying a bill, I am circulating God's good. Prosperity flows to me continuously as I actively and consciously participate in the infinite cycle of blessing and benefit.

10-10-10 For Manifesting Prosperity

I am celebrating this week of 10-10-10! As my gift in commemorating this special week, I want to share some of my Top Ten’s.

I must warn you: all of my Top Ten’s begin the same. Over the years, these steps are tried and true; proven to be the first steps in creating a life of success, health, wealth and prosperity. You will see that much of it is the same. I am not one for re-inventing the wheel. When I find something that truly works, over and over – I WORK IT – over and over and over!

Today’s Top Ten: 10 Keys to Manifesting Prosperity

1. STOP! Take a mental and spiritual time out and stop.

2. Breathe! Taking a breath brings you back to center, back to the present moment and helps you to tap into your Inner Wisdom.

3. Ask! You have not because you ask not! Have you asked for more prosperity in your life?

4. Listen. You cannot hear the answers to your questions if you do not listen.

5. Decide. Make the conscious decision to have a prosperous life.

6. See It. Visualize in the theater of your mind a life of prosperity and abundance. Until you can see it, you cannot feel it.

7. Feel It. Now that you have a clear picture of prosperity, what does that feel it? Get full of that feeling!

8. Believe It! Know that beyond a shadow of a doubt this is your life; that you life of one of prosperity and abundance.

9. Be Grateful. Feel such gratitude and appreciation; not just for your prosperous life, but also that you have the power to create your life anyway you choose.

10. Repeat! This will be a familiar step this week, but I believe the most important step. You must continue to take consistent action to manifest a prosperous life.

As an added bonus, I have selected some special e-books to help you in your journey to creating a life of passion, peace and prosperity. It is my special one-time 10-10-10 Blowout Sale! For this week only, any book is only $10. And if you purchase 3 or more books, you get an additional set of bonuses valued at over $150. So act fast! This offer is only running through Friday, October 15, 2010.

Here’s to your success!

Prosper With Appreciation

"Feeling appreciated is one of the most important needs that people have. When you share with someone your appreciation and gratitude, they will not forget you. Appreciation will return to you many times." ~ Steve Brunkhorst

High on Abraham Maslow’s Hierarchy of Human Needs' chart is the esteem needs ~ the need to be respected, recognized, and appreciated. We all have these needs. These needs are basic to living a life of purpose and passion. Yet remember, we ALL have these needs. Neglecting the needs of others to have your own needs met and satisfied does not make for purposeful living. We are all spiritual beings having this human experience combined with hopes, dreams, fears and sorrows. Treat people as people, and they will repay you in the same way.

“They may forget what you said, but they will never forget how you made them feel.” ~ Carl W. Beuchner

National Vacation Day

One of my coaches always provides a challenging question of the week to ponder, dream and intend. One week, the question was if she was to give me $10 million dollars, what would I spend it on ~ and I can’t just give it away, but I have to spend it. What fun it was spending $10 million dollars on paper!

So let’s bring it down closer to home. What if you were to win a $10,000 dream summer vacation, where would you go and what would you do? You can dream exceedingly big when you dream on paper. So dream big! Unfortunately, because of the “economy” people are not only postponing vacations, but they are also not dreaming big.

I remember as a child looking forward to summer vacation. I didn’t like where I went (to my mean aunt’s house in South Carolina), but I liked the idea of the summer break from school and the teachers; who were almost as mean as my aunt! There was something sacred about summer vacation. Remember, it was “winter break” but “summer vacation.” I don’t know about you, but I haven’t had a real summer vacation in a while. Why? Because like most, I have misplaced my “dream mojo.”

Then, I discovered HomeAway. No, it isn't a home remover, but a return of the lost summer vacation. HomeAway is standing up for your rights for the return of the summer vacation; a return of living the abundant life you once dreamed of. I just joined the movement to Save Our Summer Vacation. This movement is petitioning Congress to proclaim August 7 as “National Vacation Day.” It is so cool to sign a petition for something that is in alignment with my dreams. I invite you to join the movement and begin living the life of prosperity and passion you deserve.

These days, many people feel uneasy or stressed out about spending money, but living an abundant life begins with a dream. So, start dreaming! Journal about your $10,000 dream summer vacation, then enter it in the HomeAway Vacation Rentals contest. What the heck? You could dream your dream into reality!

Prosperity Monday

“Thoughts lead in to purposes; purposes go forth in action; actions form habits; habits decide character; and character fixes our destiny.” ~ Tryon Edwards

So bottom line: Our thoughts lead to our destiny. Our thinking is what creates our reality. Experts say that we think approximately 60,000 thoughts each day and…

~ over 80% of those thoughts are negative

and…

~ we consistently think the same negative thoughts over and over.

Think about this: When was the last time you had a new thought? Or, do you simply re-hash the same old negative thoughts?

We are divine creators. In order to create, we must dream new and magnificent dreams.

If we don’t like the life we are living, we have the power to think a new thought ~ a thought that will lead to a new reality.

Think a new thought, dream BIG dreams!

Prosperity Monday

“Your life is what your thoughts make it.”
~ Marcus Aurelius

We many or may not be able to change or control our circumstances. We are able to change and control what we choose to think about them. It is we who assign it the label of positive or negative; good or bad; pleasant or painful.

The meaning we assign a certain circumstance is what gives it life. If we don’t like our circumstances, then we need to assign it a new meaning – change the way we think about it.

We have the power to choose a new thought – a thought that will bring us inner peace and purpose.

Make it a peaceful and prosperous day!
